I co-authored the national reports for England, Wales, and Northern Ireland on the 2015 cycle of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development’s (OECD) Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA).
The TES reported on some of the additional analysis that John Jerrim and I conducted using England’s PISA data to look at regional differences in performance.
In these blog posts, I highlight some of the findings on aspirations and pupils’ experience in the science classroom. I also presented the results for Northern Ireland to a conference of principals and policymakers.
